INTRODUCTION
Owner
Jacobs Well Schools, Skills Academy and Early Childhood Development Centers are owned by Jacobs Well Village NPC, a Non-Governmental Organization that was established in 2008 by Pierre and Anke du Toit.
Our Vision: Reclaim the future one child at a time
Through Whole Person Development® we have released leaders, entrepreneurs, pastors, preachers, teachers, care workers, businessmen, subsistence farmers and artisans into the workplace.

In Jacobs Well Education we implement Whole Person Development®: we develop, educate and mentor learners as individuals academically, emotionally and spiritually to fulfil their life callings as responsible, educated and balanced young leaders in society, to serve and transform their communities.
Whole Person Development®
Our definition of a good education is that every learner should be equipped with academic, vocational, creative, personal, emotional, leadership and other life skills to serve in their communities, whether home, workplace, or university.

Development of Learners
Jacobs Well School does not focus only on academic learning. We focus on Whole Person Development® of the learners to reach their full potential as individuals academically, emotionally, and spiritually in order to fulfil their life callings as responsible, educated and balanced young leaders in society.
Mentoring of Learners
Jacobs Well Schools encourages mentor-protégé relationships. Mentorship means that we take each learner by the hand and provide leadership for Whole Person Development® that includes wholeness in mind, body, spirit emotions and relationships. We have succeeded in our task if a learner leaves Jacobs Well School with a vision and purpose for his/her life together with qualifications.
Learners are encouraged to share their joyous and painful experiences with their mentors. Jacobs Well School works in association with registered counsellors who help not only our learners, but also their families.

**The permission to pay off school fees per month, expires if a parent does not pay installments strictly on or before the 7th of each month. The full amount will then become immediately payable.
JACOBS WELL SKILLS ACADEMY
Agri Learnerships
In collaboration with Basilea Patria and Kerk Sonder Mure (Church without Walls), Jacobs Well Skills Academy offers Agri Seta accredited learnerships for community members to learn vegetable farming. The vegetable tunnels are on our premises on Plot 57 Doornrandje. At the end of 2023 we have 20 tunnels. Vegetables are for personal use, sales to restaurants and to bless the community.
We offer the full ODETDP Practitioner training. You may build up your credits to obtain a Certificate (SAQA Qualification 50334) and Diploma (SAQA Qualification 50333) that include, amongst others, the following courses (or unit standards):
